Maritime Spatial Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2021 – 2035

Project is performed under contract № РД-02.29.198 / 25.07.2019 between the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRDPW) and NCRD EAD.

Main aim of the task is „to elaborate a Maritime Spatial Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria (MSPRB), covering the internal marine waters, territorial sea, continental shelf, Exclusive Economic zone, incl. the coastal marine waters according to the para 1, issue 54 of the Additional regulations of the Water Act”. In addition to the national MSP a Strategic Environmental Assessment and Sustainability Assessment will be prepared and consulted along with the impact assessment in a transboundary context.

A GIS database is designed and developed to support the activities during the project development and to cover the future specific needs of the Commissioner and all the bodies and structures interested in data.
